Assoc. Prof. Pham Vu Phi Ho, Ph.D., is an experienced academic who currently works in the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Van Lang University in Vietnam. He has also held positions as Vice-President of Ba Ria – Vung Tau University and Vice-President and Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Van Hien University.
Dr. Ho is a prolific author and has published extensively in both local and international journals, with a total of 60 research articles to his name. His work has been featured in publications indexed in the ISI/Scopus database. Additionally, he has written eight books and course-books, some of which have been used for undergraduate and graduate students at institutions such as HCMC Open University in Vietnam and Lourdes College in the Philippines.
Dr. Ho has extensive international teaching experience, having taught English at Suranaree University of Technology in Thailand and worked as a Professor at Gyeongju University in South Korea in 2014. He is highly regarded in the academic community and serves as the Vice President for Administrative Affairs of the AsiaCALL organization. Dr. Ho is also the managing editor of the Online Journal of AsiaCALL and the Editor-in-chief of the International Journal of TESOL & Education. He serves as an editor for the Asian Journal of Applied Linguistics (Scopus) and the World Journal of English Language (Scopus) and has also reviewed articles for various international journals indexed in ISI/Scopus, including Computer Assisted Language Learning, Open Sage, and International Journal of Instruction.
Dr. Ho’s research interests are diverse, with a focus on academic writing, peer responses, translation, teaching methodologies, and technology-enhanced learning.
